The title of this article is conjectural; an official name for the article's subject has not been found, so it has been given a fitting title by the editors. If an official name is found, then the article should be moved to its appropriate title.
The Mushroom Nanny is an elderly Mushroom lady who works at the Mushroom Kingdom Orphanage, looking after orphaned Mushroom children.
In The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 episode "Tag Team Trouble", Toad had delivered a sack containing one-million Gold Coins from Princess Toadstool to the Mushroom Orphanage, but fell asleep after ringing the doorbell, as he was too tired out. The Mushroom Nanny, along with two kids, answered the door. Although the kids laughed at Toad for sleeping, the Mushroom Nanny reminded them that he was doing them a huge favor by bringing them the money that the orphanage needed, and took in the money without waking Toad.
After going through a lot of trouble, Toad got himself another one-million Gold Coins, and donated it to the orphanage. The Nanny wasn't expecting another donation, but she was more than happy to accept the money. She then told Toad to give Princess Toadstool "double thanks" for her "double generosity", and closed the door on him, just before he realized the truth and fainted.
