Most Bounty Basses barely move their fins, but some of them swim back and forth. Any which way, these fish are minor obstacles, and they can hardly be considered real enemies, except in the level [[Pot Hole Panic]], where their body mass takes up much of the remaining space.

A Bounty Bass.

Bounty Basses are bulky red fish that appear in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III.

These aquatic enemies are found in the few underwater levels, such as Bazza's Blockade or Floodlit Fish. Like their airborne counterparts, the Booty Birds, Bounty Basses carry an item with them at most times, though only in Donkey Kong Country 3. If the player manages to defeat one, using Enguarde the Swordfish's stab, the large fish will make a shocked face and give up their booty, before swimming away. Most of the time, Bounty Basses carry bananas or Bear Coins, though they can sometimes hold K-O-N-G Letters.

Most Bounty Basses barely move their fins, but some of them swim back and forth. Any which way, these fish are minor obstacles, and they can hardly be considered real enemies, except in the level Pot Hole Panic, where their body mass takes up much of the remaining space in an area.

Gleamin' Breams are similar in appearance to a Bounty Bass, with the difference of being yellow in color.
