Edge throwing her Flying Blade at Riptides in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Edge throwing her Flying Blade in battle

The Flying Blade is Edge's weapon in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. It is a blade-like weapon that acts as a boomerang, dealing damage to enemies in a straight line multiple times while ignoring Partial Cover before returning to Edge. Bigger enemies such as Wildclaws take more hits, allowing the Flying Blade to deal more damage to them.

In Edge's Skill Tree, the Flying Blade can be upgraded using Skill Prisms. There are upgrades such as increasing the critical hit chance, as well as the range. There is an upgrade that allows the Flying Blade to get 5% stronger with each hit dealt to the enemies during an attack. There is also an upgrade that increases the size of the Flying Blade when thrown, allowing Edge to attack enemies in a wider area.

Darkmess Edge wields the Darkmess Blade, a weapon identical to the Flying Blade.
