Cold Front is a 4-Player minigame found in Super Mario Party Jamboree.[1] Its name comes from a term that refers to the edge of a cool mass of air moving into a region of warmer air.

Introduction

The top middle Ty-foo blows wind, causing the players to move away (and the second and third players to jump, while moving, so as not to get blown away).

Gameplay

The players are standing on a 3×2 slippery ice grid, with three Ty-foos behind it and two to the right, all facing the arena. Players must avoid being blown off the arena by the Ty-foos' winds, which are initially blown by one Ty-foo at a time; as the minigame progresses, multiple Ty-foos begin to blow wind at the same time. The last player standing wins.

Controls

  • Control Stick – Move
  • Single Joy-Con Right Button – Jump

In-game text

Survive the Ty-foos' winds while moving along the slippery ice. Be careful not to fall!
