Hot Cross Blocks is a 4-Player minigame found in Super Mario Party Jamboree. The name is a pun on the title of the song "Hot Cross Buns".
Introduction
The camera pans from the exit door to the players, who do a ready animation. The camera then pans to a bird’s eye view.
Gameplay
The players need to select one of the four block patterns that appear on the right of screen to traverse. If more then one player picks the same block pattern, they all won’t get it. The same happens if a player selects a block pattern that doesn’t connect to their block path. The first player(s) to make it to the other side win(s).
Ending
The players are standing at the exit door. Where the winning players do their winning animation, while the losing players do their losing animation behind them. If all players reach the end in the same round, everyone celebrates.
