Description(s)
During battle, lets you change your party members... and still use the new member without losing a turn. (Paper Mario)
Allow your ally to attack even after changing partners. (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo GameCube)
Allow your partner to act even after using Swap Partner. (Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Nintendo Switch)

Quick Change is a badge in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In Paper Mario, it is hidden in the roof of Merlon's fortune-telling house, and is revealed by Spin Jumping inside the building three times. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it can be bought from Dazzle for eight Star Pieces. It sells for 250 coins. If Mario equips this badge, his partners are able to be freely swapped out without using either their turn or Mario's turn to do so. Partners can be swapped in and out without any limits, and this applies even after the partner has already used their turn to perform an action.

Merluvlee's prediction in Paper Mario

  • "I see...a Quick Change Badge. It is on a house with a spinning roof, near the Palace in Toad Town. I cannot quite see how to get it down... Oh, that's my grandpa's house! If he is outside, talk to him and he'll help you further."
