Rainbow Coaster is a course in Mario Kart Arcade GP and Mario Kart Arcade GP 2, akin to and inspired by the many incarnations of Rainbow Road. As such, the course takes place in outer space. The course features a teleporter near the middle of the stage, warping players to a new environment; a cloudy area with beanstalks in broad daylight, similar in vein to GBA Sky Garden. This portion is curved and give a very rollercoaster-like experience, much like the Mario Kart DS Rainbow Road. Its sister course, Rainbow Downhill, starts off the same, but the segment after the teleporter is shaped very differently.
