Moon Shards in the Sand is the second story mission of the Sand Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. The mission's objective is to collect five Moon Shards in the Moe-Eye Habitat.
Layout
The mission begins on the Tostarena Ruins Round Tower, and Mario must follow a series of Lifts on tracks while occasionally utilizing Hat Launchers and Pulse Beams to destroy blocks. Afterwards, Mario will end up in the Moe-Eye Habitat, and he can immediately find the first Moon Shard next to a Moe-Eye. Afterwards, Mario must follow some green birds to the second Moon Shard.
