Multi Moon Atop the Falls is the second and final story mission of the Cascade Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. The mission's objective is to defeat Madame Broode.
Layout[edit]
The mission begins moments after the previous mission, to the point where Mario and Cappy discover the old and rusted Odyssey. They attempt to power it up, but their first Power Moon does not reactivate the ship. Mario must then travel up a level, where Chain Chomps and a Big Chain Chomp reside, as well as a T-Rex overlooking them. Mario has to break the stone walls in the way, which he can do by capturing one of the nearby Chain Chomps or the Big Chain Chomp. He may instead backtrack to capture the T-Rex, then barge through. Mario continues along the Stone Bridge past a blockade of Burrbos. To Mario's right is the Great Barrier, a giant stone wall covering a cliff face. Mario can either capture the Big Chain Chomp near it or use the T-Rex, and break away the barrier to reveal a 8-bit pipe leading into the wall. By entering the pipe, Mario can walk inside the wall as a sprite. He has to climb to the top of the wall, avoiding Goombas. After smashing some Brick Blocks and making it to the top, Mario will exit the 8-bit section and end up in Fossil Falls Heights, where he must capture a Chain Chomp to send it towards the stone walls blocking the path, then proceed and encounter Madame Broode. Upon defeating her, Mario will obtain a Multi Moon.
