Template:Species-infobox Crabbles[1][2] are hermit crab-like creatures in Yoshi's Island DS. If a Yoshi attempts to hit them with an egg or Koopa Shell or by spitting out an enemy at them, their shells change color. Yoshi cannot jump on or Ground Pound them without taking damage. They are defeated when Yoshi hits them three times. These enemies normally walk on platforms and can walk sideways and even upside down. They act much like Clawdaddies and might have been inspired by Sidesteppers since they change between the three colors of blue, green, and red.
