Zess T., the chef.
Zess T. is a grumpy Toad chef in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door who resides in Rogueport.
Mario first sees her searching for her missing Contact Lens; but Mario accidentally steps on the lens and crushes it. Mario wasn't allowed to get into Rogueport's West Side until he bought her a new one. Mario buys her new contact lens, but it seems she still carries a grudge calling him names refferring to "Stompy" and "Crush". Later she is able to cook improved food items out of other, regular items.
Her cooking is limited to one item at a time until you get the Maitre Delish cookbook from the Creepy Steeple. To give the cookbook to Zess T., Mario must complete the "Seeking Legendary Book!" trouble.
Trivia
- "Zess T." sounds like "zesty", which, in a way, describes her.
- Zess T. starts calling Mario names such as Mr. Squishy and Sir Stomps-a-lot after Mario accidentally steps on her contact lens.
- According to an email Mario gets within the game, Zess T. is 55 years old during the events of the game.
