The Magic Lamp from Mario Party 4.

The Magic Lamp, also known as the Genie Lamp[1], is an item in the Mario Party series that summons the Mushroom Genie or the Genie of the Lamp to take the player to the current location of the Star. However, the player must still pay separately for the Star. A CPU player in Mario Party 3 does not buy a Magic Lamp unless the player has enough coins to both get the Star and the Magic Lamp.

It is only available in Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, and Mario Party 4. Its equivalents in later Mario Party games are the Flutter Orb and the Star Pipe.

A similar lamp appeared in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, which ended up being replaced with the Magic Potion in Super Mario Bros. 2.
