Type Boss minigame

Dragoneel Slayers is a boss minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. In Party-Planner Trek, the boss is fought after collecting at least 30 Mini Stars in Goomba Lagoon. The minigame's name is a pun on the phrase "dragon slayer".

Gameplay

Each wave of this minigame has three unique events. First, the players must control jet skis to collect Green Shells in bubbles while avoiding Urchins and Cheep Cheeps. After clearing the enemies, Dragoneel creates a whirlpool that the players must avoid. Players sucked into the whirlpool will lose three points. During the last section of each wave, Dragoneel leaps out of the water, and the players must throw the shells they collected to damage it, earning three points with each hit.

Once the boss is at half health, it summons more Urchins as well as Big Urchins during the first portion of each wave.

Controls

  • Control Stick – Move
  • Single Joy-Con Right Button – Throw Shell

In-game text
