Hot-Hot Hop is a 4-Player minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. The name of this minigame resembles that of the Hot-Hot Rocks introduced in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, though they do not appear in Jamboree. Whilst it acts like a regular 4-Player minigame in most modes, an endless variation of the minigame can be played in the Minigame Bay, where the player's longest period survived is recorded, and can be compared with other players online in the Party Plaza.

Introduction

A Magmaargh emerges from a pool of lava and sets its sights on a platform holding the players.

Gameplay

The players are placed on a metallic platform suspended over lava, with a Fire Bar in the center. During the game, the Fire Bar rotates clockwise whilst Magmaargh emerge from the lava, progress towards the platform slightly moving towards player, and eventually submerging again. Over time, the speed of the Fire Bar's rotation increases and more Magmaarghs appear. Players can jump on opponents to slow them down, or over the Fire Bar to avoid it. In regular play, the game ends after 45 seconds or when one player is left standing; the surviving players are victorious. In the game's endless variation, the game continues indefinitely until the final player is knocked out, with a maximum recorded time of 9:59:99. Surviving in the game's endless variation for 30 or more seconds is required to unlock the "Survival Expert" achievement.

In the Minigame Bay, Hot-Hot-Hop appears as the second minigame of the "Bowser's Crew" Daily Challenge set.

The winning player(s) performs their victory animation(s) in the center of the platform as the losing player(s) look on.
