The Thunder Bolt is an attack item in the Paper Mario series, first appearing in Paper Mario and returning in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. On use, this item summons a bolt of lightning that inflicts five lightning-elemental damage to a single enemy and, in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the description makes the claim that this item has a chance of stunning an enemy, however, this is untrue.
