The Bowzooka is Bowser's weapon in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. It is a bazooka-like weapon that fires a projectile that explodes in an area around the target, dealing area damage, as well as ignoring Partial Cover. The damage is weaker the further enemies are from the center explosion. The name of the weapon is a combination of the words "Bowser" and "bazooka".
In Bowser's Skill Tree, upgrades for the Bowzooka can be purchased using Skill Prisms, such as increasing the critical hit damage, range, and reducing the damage reduction of enemies being farther from the center of the explosion. There is also an upgrade that allows the Bowzooka to destroy any Cover in one shot, except indestructible Cover.
Magikoopas have an exploding projectile with their wand, which is similar to the Bowzooka, although without the damage dropoff. Darkmess Bowser wields the Darkmess Bowzooka, although it deals much more damage than Bowser's Bowzooka with no damage dropoff. Rayman's Rocket Blaster causes an explosion as well, but unlike the Bowzooka, the explosion does the same damage to all enemies, and the explosion is larger the farther Rayman is to his target.
According to JEANIE, this weapon was originally designed for Rabbid Mario, but was too heavy for him, who claims it chafed his skin instead.
