First appearance | Super Mario Bros. Wonder (2023) |
Ghosts[1] are forms in Super Mario Bros. Wonder that characters take when they are defeated in co-op mode. When in this form, a five-second countdown appears beside the character, and they must come in contact with another character or a Standee within that time to respawn in their Small form, otherwise they lose a life. Ghosts take their appearances after the Small forms.
Ghosts share a similar function with Bubbles.
