Crabbles[1][2] are hermit crab enemies in Yoshi's Island DS with shells that change color when hit by a projectile, such as an enemy or an egg. Yoshi can neither stomp nor Ground Pound a Crabble without taking damage. It takes three hits to defeat a Crabble. They behave similarly to Clawdaddies, and can walk sideways and even upside down. Much like Sidesteppers, Crabbles can change between the three colors of blue, green, and red.
