Dino Rhinos are ceratopsian dinosaurs that reside on Chocolate Island in Super Mario World. When Mario jumps on one, it turns into a Dino-Torch, or Mini Rhinos. Mini Rhinos are capable of breathing fire, unlike their bigger form.

In Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, the king of world 3, Seaside, was transformed into a purple Dino Rhino.

In Paper Mario, an albino sub-species of Dino Rhinos, called Albino Dinos, appear as guards in the Crystal Palace.
