The Pugilist and the Princess is a side-quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located on the planet Beacon Beach, specifically in Beacon Town. After the hero’s clear both Darkmess Tentacles, some Darkmess remains in Beacon Beach, and some of it is for this battle. Unlike most other battles, a specific team of characters must be used for this battle, in this case, it is Rabbid Mario and Princess Peach. Both must defeat all of the enemies to win. After completing the battle, the quest is complete, and The Steampunk Dukes, as well as the Memory for Rabbid Mario are obtained.

Battle
The battle is always random, but the battlefield is small, with some Goombas, Stooges, and a Wildclaw. Rabbid Mario and Princess Peach must be used for this battle, but the Sparks that they can have can be freely chosen by the player. After all of the enemies are defeated, the battle is won.
