A Light in the Darkmess is a Darkmess Tentacle battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located at the top of the lighthouse in Beacon Beach. This battle is part of the Come Rain or Shine main quest. The objective is to destroy Darkmess Eyes. There are eleven total around the lighthouse, and all must be destroyed to clear the battle. After the battle, the Spark Toxiquake joins the heroes, and a Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal is obtained. The sun also shines again on Beacon Beach.

Objective

  • Destroy Darkmess Eyes

Layout

The layout of the battlefield consists of three sections that go around the lighthouse. Bridges connect the sections over the lava. Darkmess Eyes are all around the lighthouse.

Section 1

The heroes start here, and there are three Stooges, as well as a Bob-omb.

Section 2

There are two Stooges, one Bob-omb, and two Flamin' Stooges here. The Flamin' Stooges are on higher ground at this part.

Section 3

The third section has stairs leading up to higher ground, where it loops back to the first section via drop down. There are three enemies here total, which are one of each of previously stated enemies.

Battle

During battle, Darkmess Portals containing Bob-ombs, Stooges, and Flamin' Stooges will appear. These portals might have multiple enemies.
