Vine Country is a single-player Donkey Kong minigame in Mario Party 7 and a Special minigame in Mario Party: The Top 100. Its name is a pun on the term "wine country."

Gameplay

The minigame consists of climbing vines in a race to the top with Donkey Kong, but the player also has to avoid falling spiders and beehives. If the player is hit, the player gets stunned, giving Donkey Kong the advantage, but he can also be stunned.

  • A Button – Tap to climb
  • Control Stick – Choose a side

  • Mash A Button: Climb
  • Circle Pad Left / Right: Dodge

  • Rules – "Tap A Button repeatedly to reach the top before DK does. Move sideways to dodge honeycombs and spiders."
  • Advice – "The falling objects will stop you in your tracks, so watch the top of the screen carefully!"

  • Description – "Dodge spiders and beehives while climbing the vine to reach the goal first!"
  • On-screen – "Climb the vine and reach the goal before Donkey Kong!"
