Yellow Yoshi fighting Six-Face Sal

Six-Face Sal is a wooden wheel with six faces on it that appears as a boss of Six-Face Sal's Fort in Yoshi's Island DS. To defeat him, Yellow Yoshi must jump on a paddle wheel and turn it, which also turns Sal's wheel. This is required to get a clear shot with an egg at the vulnerable face, which will be enlarged and pink; some of the other faces will enlarge and turn red as well, and all of the enlarged faces will shoot Needlenoses out of their mouths.

It is unknown what species Sal is, if he is part of any species in particular. He possesses a face similar to that of Super Mario Bros. 2's Phantos, and laughs in a way identical to Boos. When defeated, the faces shrink, turn blue, and have an expression similar to those of uncollected Flowers on a goal roulette.
