In ''[[Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam]]'', [[Mario]], [[Luigi]] and [[Paper Mario]] can uncover [[Bean]]s and for the first time in the series, other items hidden in the X-shaped spots in ground and also for the first time, in the walls. The group can uncover those items by using [[Trio Drill]] and simply go through the beanhole (also known as Drill Spot in game) and automaticaly get the desired item. There are 354 beanholes in total (TBA if the [[Bowser's Castle#Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam|Bowser's Castle]] ones are counted, even though the game does not take them into the account, so to be precise, these will be also included, but placed at the end of the page). The ones from [[Doop Doop Dunes Grotto]] and [[Twinsy Tropics Dungeon]] are included in [[Doop Doop Dunes]] and [[Twinsy Tropics]] respectively. [[Peach's Castle#Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam|Peach's Castle]] is the only location without any beanholes.
