'''Pagoda Peak''' is a China-themed board from ''[[Mario Party 7]]'' that resembles an ancient Chinese mountain (said to be over 1,000,000 years old). Here, [[Kung Fu Koopa]]s are in charge of the [[Orb Shop]]s. An old Koopa, named [[Koopa Master]], lives at the top of the mountain. He will sell a character who reaches the peak of the mountain a [[Star]] for the amount of [[coin]]s shown above his house (10, 20, 30 or 40). ==Overview==

The board includes a board and two dojos. It features Japan-inspired building architecture and mountains based on those in China. [[Kung Fu Koopa]]s run the [[Orb Hut]]s, while the elderly [[Koopa Master]] gives a [[Star (Mario Party series)|Star]] for 10 [[coin]]s at the peak, changing 20, 30, and then 40 coins before resetting to 10 coins after a Star is bought each time. The goal in Solo Cruise is to get 100 coins to exchange for a Master Koopa T-Shirt on the peak.

Five events can occur, depending on which [[Event Space|Green Space]] is landed on:
 
*Near the start, [[Toadsworth]] offers the player to ride a rocket, with one taking them to the top and the other to the start.
*Near the Gongs of Fate involves the player bashing the gong to change the cost of the Star before receiving coins afterward.
*At Kung Fu Falls, the player jump kicks between platforms to collect coins while dodging logs. If all coins are obtained, the player gets a Star (or 50 coins in Solo Cruise).
*Next to Blazing Rock, the player repeatedly presses certain buttons to put out flames with their large fan. If successful, they go into a gave and get an [[Orb]] and sometimes coins or a Star if done fast enough.
*On the Chinese dragon's tongue, it pulls players on it into its mouth and spits them back to the start, inside of a blue fireball.


Landing on the [[Green Space]] near the start let [[Toadsworth]] ask if the player wanted to use one of his bottle rockets. Accepting let the player choose which one to ride on. Then, when they are tied up onto it, the chosen rocket took them to a higher part of the board, or a lower part of the board. Landing on a Green Spaces next to one of the Gongs of Fate made Master Koopa appear and let the player bash the gong to change the price of the current Star. He then gives them coins. The Green Space next to Kung Fu Falls made Master Koopa appear again to let the player try and grab coins that fell from the falls. If a player gets all the coins that come, Master Koopa gives them a Star. The Green Space next to the Burning Rock made players try and fan out the flames with a large fan. They would be able to get coins, or even a Star, depending on how fast they put the flames out. Finally, landing on the Green Space on the Chinese dragon's tongue takes players in its mouth, and spit-shoot them out in blue flames, sending them all the way back to start.
===Bowser Time===
One of four [[Bowser Time]] events can occur at Pagoda Peak, with Bowser determining one from the peak of the mountain:


There is a building about halfway through the board that consists of three consecutive [[Duel Space]]s.
*Bowser takes a souvenir photograph of every player, with a backdrop based on the Chinese novel ''{{wp|Journey to the West}}''. He forces 10 or 20 coins from each player but leaves without any player receiving the photo. This occurs in every board except [[Bowser's Enchanted Inferno!]]
*Bowser flattens an Orb Hut and replaces it with his own, titled Bowser City, forcing player to buy either a [[Koopa Kid Orb]] or a worthless item for 20 coins, then Koopa Kid either steals or uses it. This event can also occur in [[Grand Canal]] and [[Pyramid Park]].
*Bowser destroys a bridge after jumping off of the mountain, preventing players from crossing it until the next turn.
*Bowser lands on a lower area, with the resulting tremor causing all players except those at the start to fall lower on the board.


When [[Bowser Time]] comes along, [[Bowser]] does one of four things:
===Orbs===
*Take a souvenir photograph of all the players, and force each of them to pay for it. The players will pay either 10 coins or 20 coins for the photo. He then leaves and gives nobody the photo.

*Flattens one of the Orb Shops, and replaced it with one of his own (called Bowser City). Koopa Kid stopps anyone who went by, and threw them in the shop, where Bowser sold them a worthless item for twenty coins.

In Solo Mode, players have to beat their opponent by collecting 100 coins and reaching the top first (Master Koopa gives them a T-shirt with his face on it as a "reward" for their effort).

The board includes a board and two dojos. It features Japan-inspired building architecture and mountains based on those in China. Kung Fu Koopas run the Orb Huts, while the elderly Koopa Master gives a Star for 10 coins at the peak, changing 20, 30, and then 40 coins before resetting to 10 coins after a Star is bought each time. The goal in Solo Cruise is to get 100 coins to exchange for a Master Koopa T-Shirt on the peak.

Events[edit]

Five events can occur, depending on which Green Space is landed on:
