Penny Pinchers is a 1-vs.-3 minigame in Mario Party DS. The name comes from an idiom that describes ones who spend their money carefully.
Gameplay[edit]
The solo player must collect coins that come from a treasure chest and avoid beads. If a bead hits the solo player, they are temporarily stunned. Red Coins also appear and are worth five regular coins. If a coin falls down into the bottom screen, the other three players must touch the coin with to collect it. At the end of the minigame, the players win all the coins they have collected.
