Sweet Sleuth is a 4-Player and Duel minigame in Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on "sweet tooth," which is what someone fond of sweets is said to have.
Gameplay[edit]
A Shy Guy wants candies. The players must look through a candy dish, finding the candies that the Shy Guy wants the players to get. If a player gives the correct candy, they score. If they give the wrong candy, they must try again. The candies are designed to look very similar, some differing only in shape or in the orientation of the wrapper pattern, and more candy is poured onto the plate several times. If a player gives the Shy Guy a correct candy after time runs out, they still receive a point. Whoever gives the Shy Guy the most correct candy wins.
Controls[edit]
- – Touch and hold to drag a candy
- – Let go to drop a candy
In-game text[edit]
- Rules – "Give Shy Guy the candy he craves. Drag the correct candy out of the dish, then drop it in front of Shy Guy."
- Tips – "Study the dish selection closely before you select a candy. You want to pick the correct ones, and many candies look similar."
