Hanger Management is a 2-vs.-2 and Duel minigame in Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on "anger management" and/or "hunger management." Despite not being a 4-Player minigame, this minigame appears in Score Scuffle as the second-to-last minigame, making it appear in a 4-Player format only in this mode.
Introduction[edit]
The characters shift on their hangers to avoid an obstacle.
Gameplay[edit]
The players hang on hangers and have to move them along a wire to the end while avoiding various objects (obstacles are marked with an exclamation mark and include posts, watering cans, and the handles of various tools). If the players hit an object, they slow down. The player can go faster by balancing the weight of the hanger. The first team or player to get to the finish line wins. If both teams or players reach the finish line at the same time or if five minutes pass, the minigame is considered a tie. In Score Scuffle, the minigame ends once all players finish.
If both teams or players break the current record by tying, it counts as a new record even though no one won, as the screen says "Tie" after the "New Record" fanfare.
This minigame is not in the Simple Set.
Ending[edit]
Winners are shown on a table and celebrate their victory. Losers, if any, are not shown.
