Soil Toil is a 2-vs.-2 minigame found in Mario Party DS.

Gameplay[edit]

Using two-driver cars, the teams race along a track through a vegetable garden in order to reach the finish line. One player on each team spins one of the car's front wheels, while the other team player spins the car's other front wheel. To go forward, the player must turn the wheel on the bottom screen forward. The car moves in the direction that the slower wheel moves. Dark patches of soil are harder to drive through. The team to reach the finish line first wins.

This minigame does not appear in the Simple Set.

Controls[edit]

  • Stylus – Spin your wheel

In-game text[edit]

  • Rules"You spin one front wheel of a car, and your teammate spins the other one. Cooperate to race your car to the finish."
