Description | |
"A portable emergency exit that can help you escape most battles, or to find secret areas in most levels." | |
First appearance | Paper Mario: Sticker Star (2012) |
- “Stick those door stickers up and they open secret areas... Secret doors rule.”
- —Kersti, Paper Mario: Sticker Star
- “A door that opens the way to a secret place. This sticker can also be used to flee a battle.”
- —Sticker Museum plaque, Paper Mario: Sticker Star
Secret Doors are a special type of sticker found in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. They can each be bought for 80 coins at Outlook Point. Secret Doors can be Paperized onto silhouettes of doors located mainly on walls to see what is behind, usually several powerful stickers or a Thing. Secret Doors can also allow Mario to flee from battle by walking through one. There are certain battles the Secret Door collapses when Mario tries to flee, such as when battling Bowser. The player can earn the "Covert Doorman" Super Flag after placing every Secret Door. It is placed as No. 87 in the Sticker Museum.
A Secret Door only appears outside of Outlook Point twice. In Ice Flow, it is found after revealing several Hidden Blocks. In Bowser's Snow Fort, this occurs after the two Shy Guys holding the Traveling Toad hostage are either defeated or paid.
