Slappy-Go-Round is a Duel minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. The name is a pun on the term "merry-go-round."

Introduction[edit]

In an arena, a large mechanical hand swings to the left and then to the right before stopping. As the players take their places on two silver buttons, a Hammer Bro rings a bell.

Gameplay[edit]

Each player must ground-pound a button to activate the hand and slap their opponent. If a player jumps over the hand, it will automatically slap the player who activated it instead. The minigame ends after either a player has taken damage five times or 60 seconds have passed. The remaining player, or the player with the lower amount of damage taken after time runs out, wins.

Ending[edit]

The winning player performs their victory animation for the crowd as the losing player performs their defeat animation.

In-game text[edit]
