On-Again, Off-Again is a 1-vs.-3 minigame found in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Its name is derived from a phrase that describes relationships or events that start and stop intermittently.
Introduction[edit]
Inside a mine, a Grrrol comes out of a hole on the left. The solo player jumps to hit the ON/OFF Switch. The three team players move left to avoid getting hit by the Grrrol as it rolls offscreen, then return to the middle.
Gameplay[edit]
The solo player must use the ON/OFF Switch to make the Grrrols fall through the platforms to hit the team players as they avoid being hit by them. If the solo player manages to eliminate the team of three, they win. If the team of three has at least one member standing after time runs out, the team wins.
Ending[edit]
The players' characters are in a different part of the mine. If the solo player wins, they perform their victory animation while the team players stand behind them and perform their losing animations. If the team players win, they perform their victory animations while the solo player stands behind them and performs their losing animation.
Controls[edit]

In-game text[edit]
