A Bowser Jr. Block[1] is an electronic interactive block that currently only appears in the queue of the Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown challenge at Super Nintendo World locations in Universal Studios Japan and Universal Studios Hollywood. It is a green, glowing block that displays the red-orange emblem of Bowser Jr., resembling Baddie Boxes from Super Mario 3D Land, which used Bowser's emblem instead. When punched from below, the block glows brighter and triggers a gust of wind to blow from a vent in the wall perpendicular to it as a surprise to visitors.

Visitors who punch the Bowser Jr. Block while wearing a Power-Up Band will be rewarded the "Bowser Jr. Block" stamp (referred to as the "First Punch" stamp in Universal Studios Japan), as well as 45 coins within the official Universal Studios smartphone application.
