First appearance Mario & Luigi: Brothership (2024)
Inhabitants Plug-like creatures (Connie, Snoutlet)

Concordia[1] is the main setting of Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is described as a parallel world where the ocean stretches out before Mario and Luigi, to which they arrive through a mysterious portal that opened up near Peach's Castle.[2] Concordia was once a single continent, but it was broken apart into many islands.[3] These islands range from tropical rainforests to bustling cities, and can be accessed by the brothers via the cannon mounted on top of Shipshape Island. Its name is the Latin word for harmony, and serves as a pun on "connection cord." It may also have been chosen as a reference to several real-life historical sailing ships of the same name, and Concordia-class cruise ships.

Inhabitants[edit]

It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to include more information. Reason: Grampy Turnips, Gorumbla, other enemies and bosses

It has been requested that at least one image be uploaded for this section. Remove this notice only after the image(s) have been added. Specific(s): Examples of the various colors / proportions of the humanoids

The most common species inhabiting Concordia are humanoids with plug-shaped faces. They come in a wide variety of skin colors and proportions, with wires coming out from the top of their heads that act as their hair. Some Concordians still have typical facial hair and eyebrows, however. There are also the Skorcheen and Slippenglide peoples who additionally have fire and ice attributes, respectively.

In addition to the Concordian humanoids, there is a species of flying pig-like creatures, with the only known members being Snoutlet and the Great Conductor. There are also the Extension Corps, consisting of Ecks, Ten, and Shun, who are based on different types of electrical connectors instead of plugs. The other members of Zokket's army were artificially created by him.
