Battle Course 3 is the third battle course of Mario Kart: Super Circuit. It shares its tileset and background with Peach Circuit.

Battle Course 3 is a very simple square-shaped course. It has four "L'-shaped walls which separate the course into a main "+"-shaped area and four square corners. The walls are multicolored and have grass within them. In the very middle of the course, there is a large circle of sand which can slow down players.

The course also returns as a Retro Battle Course in Mario Kart Wii. The inner walls are now color-coded (red, blue, yellow, and green). The music is also remixed, with instrumentation designed to mimic Mario Kart: Super Circuit's soundfont. The background is additionally a higher-quality version of Mario Kart DS's background for GBA Peach Circuit.

Tournaments[edit]

The GBA Battle Course 3 tournament

May 2008's second tournament required players to pass through 10 gates on Battle Course 3. Along the way, the player could hit many Item Boxes which would only contain Mushrooms. Controls were restricted to Wii Wheel users only. The tournament was later repeated as the second tournament of May 2010, the second tournament of November 2011, the first tournament of February 2013, and the second tournament of April 2014.
