Kuff 'n' Klout (also known as the Kremling Twins)[1] are two large, beefy, and light brown Kremlings in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, and are one of the few enemies to not reappear in Donkey Kong Land III. Kuff 'n' Klout share a nearly identical appearance, but as shown in their artwork, the only way Kuff 'n' Klout can be told apart is from their eye color: One of them has purple eyes, and the other has green eyes. However, both of them have green eyes in the game, therefore making them indistinguishable. Kuff 'n' Klouts attack by making movements reminiscent to a game of leapfrog, or racing about the screen, shoulder to shoulder. Some Kuff 'n' Klouts perform the former then the latter in succession to each other. Kuff 'n' Klouts are the strongest Kremling enemies, as they can only be defeated from either a barrel or one of Squitter's webs. If Dixie and Kiddy try any direct attack on a Kuff 'n' Klout, they get hurt. Kuff 'n' Klouts appear only in the first three Krematoa levels: Stampede Sprint, Criss Kross Cliffs, and Tyrant Twin Tussle, the latter including them as the main obstacle. In Dixie's Photo Album, Kuff 'n' Klout are classified as part of the "Kremling Kreeps" enemy class.
In the Game Boy Advance version, if one of the Kremling Twins is defeated, the other continues to charge, but it disappears suddenly after a few seconds, while in the original game, the other charges the Kongs and disappears when the Kongs move offscreen.
