Melodic Gardens is the main setting of The Last Spark Hunter DLC in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Its areas are the Music Jungle, Concert Pond, the Swamp, and the Flooded Ruins.
The heroes travel to the Melodic Gardens after finding out that it has gone silent. While there, they meet Allegra, the planet's warden, and Kanya, a former servant of Cursa who is plotting to rule the galaxy herself.
==History== | |||
After learning that it has gone silent, the heroes travel to the Melodic Gardens to find out what is wrong. JEANIE tells the group that the planet's air density has been drastically altered due to the harmony of the Melodic Gardens is out of balance. This prevents the WM ARC from lifting off, making it impossible for the heroes to leave. They travel through the Music Jungle, unaware that they are being watched by Allegra. The group then find themselves at the Concert Pond, where a large Darkmess Puddle has trapped the Rabbid musicians. The heroes save them all and cleanse the puddle, starting a celebration. Allegra then reveals herself to the heroes and explains the current situation of the Melodic Gardens, telling that if the planet goes silent, it will fade away. She leads the heroes to find her friend, who has been forced into hiding and is responsible for the biophonies on the planet.
On the way to find Allegra's friend, they all run into Kanya, who knows all about who they are. She tells Allegra that it is "too late" for her friend, causing Allegra to apologize and run off in fear for her friend's safety. Kanya then unleashes the Proto Mecha King Bob-omb on the heroes, who defeat it in a battle. Kanya then applauds the heroes and leaves, confusing the group. They then continue onward to find Allegra, and use a boat to traverse the Swamp. They come across a large gate, and JEANIE detects two life forms behind it: Allegra and her friend. The only way to open the gate is to unite the Melospheres at the base of the Sweeping Tree. The group travels to the Flooded Ruins and find out that the Melospheres are imprisoned in cages and free them. Afterwards, a Darkmess Puddle traps all the Melospheres, which the heroes rescue in a battle. With the Melospheres now at the Sweeping Tree, the tree glows brightly, causing the Swamp gate to open.
Beyond the Swamp gate, the heroes find Allegra sad that her friend, a Dorrie, is in a cage. Kanya then shows up inside of her Mecha King Bob-omb and battles the heroes. During the battle, the heroes free the Dorrie and them, along with Allegra and the Dorrie unite together to defeat the Mecha King Bob-omb, as well as Kanya for good. With the Melodic Gardens now restored to normal, the air density has been neutralized, allowing the WM ARC to leave the planet. Allegra wishes the heroes good luck against Cursa, and thanks the heroes with a biophony of her own.

History[edit]

- MELODIC GARDENS
The Melodic Gardens is an entire planet of tropical forest, uniquely evolved with a singular purpose in mind - the creation of "biophonies" or "eco symphonies", the collective sound created by living organisms within a biome. Even the Rabbids here, normally prone to chaos and cacophony, have found a way to add to the harmony of their surroundings. There is nothing like it in all of the galaxy.
