A 5 UP is a gold mushroom found in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. It is one of the items that can be earned by playing one of the two bonus minigames present in the game at the end of a level, only after the player has collected all three presents. Obtaining one of these mushrooms grants the player five extra lives.
5 UPs do not appear in the Nintendo Switch remake, as both minigames were replaced with various bonus levels that grant multiple 1-Up Mushrooms instead.
