If only one of them is defeated, the other will continue to charge and then disappear when Dixie Kong or Kiddy Kong go offscreen or remain motionless and suddenly disappear a few seconds later (GBA version). The only way to tell Kuff 'n' Klout apart is by their eye color; one of them has purple eyes while the other has green eyes. However, Kuff 'n' Klout both have green eyes in the game, and it is unknown which is which.

Kuff 'n' Klout (also known as the Kremling Twins)[1] are a pair of two large, muscular Kremlings in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. Both Kuff 'n' Klout have green eyes, although artwork depicts one of them with purple eyes. In Dixie Kong's Photo Album, Kuff 'n' Klout are classified as part of the "Kremling Kreeps" enemy class.

Kuff 'n' Klouts attack by making movements akin to playing leapfrog or by racing about the screen, shoulder to shoulder. Some Kuff 'n' Klouts perform each action in succession to one another. Kuff 'n' Klouts are invulnerable to all direct attacks, including Team up, and they can be defeated only from a barrel or one of Squitter's webs. If Dixie Kong or Kiddy Kong tries to attack a Kuff 'n' Klout, they take damage. Even when one twin is defeated, the other charges at the player characters and disappears offscreen.
