Bazzas are long, green barracuda-like fish found in the games Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. In the SNES game, they can only be found in one level, aptly named Bazza's Blockade , while in the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 3,  they also appear in several Pacifica levels such as Sunken Spruce or Ripcurl Reef. According to the game's credits, Bazzas belong to the "Aquatic Attackers" enemy class.
Bazzas are long, green barracuda-like fish enemies in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III. Bazzas live in the holes of the coral reefs, where an indefinite number continuously swims in and out of from one side to the other. In this regard, they are essentially the aquatic equivalent of Swoopies and Lemguins, which are other enemies with similar attack patterns. Dixie or Kiddy Kong must avoid Bazzas, else it bites them. Bazzas can be defeated by one Animal Friend (Enguarde only), like with most other underwater enemies. A photograph of a Bazza appears in Dixie Kong's Photo Album, in which it falls under the "Aquatic Attackers" enemy class.

Bazzas live in underwater holes which they constantly swim in and out of in a straight line. They can also use tree trunks and large broken branches as hideouts, in "Sunken Spruce". If Dixie Kong or Kiddy Kong swims too close to a Bazza, the fish will bite the Kong. These enemies can only be defeated by Enguarde the Swordfish, so most of the time the Kongs will have to avoid them. As revealed in the Game Boy Advance remake, Bazzas can live in both fresh and salt water.
In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Bazzas only appear in one level, Bazza's Blockade. In the Game Boy Advance version, they also appear in three Pacifica levels, including Stormy Seas, Sunken Spruce (where they can also use tree trunks and large broken branches as hideouts), and Ripcurl Reef. In Donkey Kong Land III, Bazzas appear in all three coral levels: Seabed Shanty, Coral Quarrel, and Deep Reef Grief.

Bazzas are the aquatic equivalent of Swoopys and Lemguins, other enemy creatures with attack patterns similar to the dangerous fish.

Bazza's early design
 • In early screenshots shown in volume 89 of Nintendo Power and the back cover of American English and British English releases of Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Bazza had a more elongated head resembling an actual barracuda's and appeared more bluish, similarly as in its artwork.
 • "Bazza" is a recurring name in games by Rare. In addition to the Donkey Kong Country 3 enemy, it is also the name of a brand of battery found in Banjo-Tooie and a dung beetle in Conker's Bad Fur Day. In real life, "Bazza" is a common British nickname for names such as "Barry."
