A [[Shy Guy]] wants candies. The players must look through a candy dish, finding the candy that Shy Guy wants to the player to get.

If they give the wrong candy, they must try again. The candies are designed to look very similar, some differing only in shape or in the orientation of the wrapper pattern, and more candy is poured onto the plate several times. If a player gives the Shy Guy a correct candy after time runs out, they still receive a point. Whoever gives the Shy Guy the most correct candy wins.
 
If it's correct it will count as a score, if wrong, the player has to keep trying to get the right piece of candy or the character can't move on. There are many candies that look alike to one another, making it tricky. The Shy Guy will switch candies constantly and more candy will be placed in the bowl a few times. Whoever gives to Shy Guy the most amount of correct candies when the time ends, is the winner.

Sweet Sleuth is a 4-Player and Duel minigame in Mario Party DS. Its name is a pun on "sweet tooth," which is what someone fond of sweets is said to have.

Gameplay[edit]

A Shy Guy wants candies. The players must look through a candy dish, finding the candies that the Shy Guy wants the players to get. If a player gives the correct candy, they score. If they give the wrong candy, they must try again. The candies are designed to look very similar, some differing only in shape or in the orientation of the wrapper pattern, and more candy is poured onto the plate several times. If a player gives the Shy Guy a correct candy after time runs out, they still receive a point. Whoever gives the Shy Guy the most correct candy wins.

  • Stylus – Touch and hold to drag a candy
