Rosalina's Radical Race is a Showdown minigame in Super Mario Party Jamboree. It is centered around Rosalina, and it takes place on a snowy mountain, potentially referencing Rosalina's Ice World, and a rainbow path, referencing Rainbow Road. Like other Showdown minigames, this minigame cannot be played in the Mario Party mode if Rosalina is an active player character, though she can still be used in this minigame in Minigame Bay modes. It is the only Showdown minigame to use motion controls, meaning players must use a single Joy-Con to play it. Due to this, Rosalina will not show up as a Jamboree Buddy on a board if motion controls are turned off.
Introduction[edit]
Rosalina flies down to the snowy course and smiles at the camera. She then flies off as the four players follow her on their snowboards.
Gameplay[edit]
This minigame has four players racing against each other on snowboards. Using motion controls, players steer their characters down the path in order to reach the finish line first. The course starts on the slopes of a snowy mountain; about halfway, Rosalina forms a rainbow path. Throughout the course are Dash Panels, both flat and on ramps.
