Shy Guys on Pogo Sticks[1] are enemies in Yoshi's Story. These pogo stick-using Shy Guys are first encountered in Surprise!! Most Shy Guys on Pogo Sticks merely stand in a specific spot and jump over and over, occasionally performing a flip. Unlike Stilt Guys, Shy Guys on Pogo Sticks do not need to be dismounted from their rides to be attacked and thus can be defeated by throwing a Yoshi egg at the exposed Shy Guys or swallowing them. Also, much like with normal Shy Guys, the color of the rider can be changed by ground-pounding near it.
