In the [[Donkey Kong Country 3 (Game Boy Advance)|remake]] of ''Donkey Kong Country 3'', the sound effects for when a Bounty Bass is defeated give the impression of it deflating like a balloon, which also applies to Booty Birds.


Bount Bass' behavior in ''[[Donkey Kong Land III]]'' is slightly different. In that game, they are often found in river stages, and they tend to be more active; they swim back and forth in the underwater passages. Despite their names, Bounty Bass in that game do not hold items; they instead serve as a larger, and more difficult to avoid, version of [[Koco]]. They can still be defeated by Enguarde, however.

Bounty Basses are enemies in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III.
