Bath Bob-ombs
A minigame with Bob-ombs in Super Mario Party Jamboree
Appears in Super Mario Party Jamboree
Type Kaboom-Squad minigame

Bath Bob-ombs is a Kaboom-Squad minigame appearing in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Its name is derived from "bath bombs."

Introduction[edit]

All eight characters pass under a gate, which then closes behind them. All of the characters appear shocked as Bob-ombs walk toward them.

Gameplay[edit]

All of the players must work together to throw 150 Bob-ombs into the nearby water before they detonate right in front of the gate, damaging it. The players' score begins at 100%, though it decreases every time the gate is damaged. If a Bob-omb a player is carrying explodes, the score does not decrease, though the player is briefly stunned. The minigame ends once there are no more Bob-ombs, with the players' ranking depending on their final score:

  • S: 80%
  • A: 45–79%
  • B: 1–44%
  • C: 0%

Each Bob-omb explosion deals 7% damage to the gate. Thus, in order to get an S rank, the team must finish the minigame while allowing no more than two Bob-ombs to explode at the gate; keeping an A rank requires no more than seven Bob-ombs exploding. Letting fifteen Bob-ombs explode at the gate causes the players to lose the minigame.

Controls[edit]

  • Control Stick – Move
  • Single Joy-Con Right Button – Catch/Throw

In-game text[edit]

Keep Bob-ombs from the gate by tossing them into the water. They'll reach the water no matter where you're standing!
