Glohm Soreboar
First appearance Mario & Luigi: Brothership (2024)
Variant of Soreboar

Glohm Soreboars are enemies in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are Soreboars that have been infected by and strengthened with Glohm and are found on Twistee Island, after the island and Heatfreeze Island become unlinked from Shipshape Island, replacing regular Soreboars for the rest of the game. They look similar to their normal counterparts, except with glowing eyes and shadowy Glohm effects.

When Twistee Island is unlinked, the levels of Glohm Soreboars are at level 29, however during Reclusa's rule over Concordia, their levels are even higher.

Battle

Glohm Soreboars fight identically to normal Soreboars, although their stats are much higher, and their attacks are much faster and may inclift the Glohm status on a brother. After attacking, a spiked energy shield may form around their bodies that require an attack or more to shatter it.

When Concordia has been taken over by Reclusa, Glohm Soreboars gain a new ability: upon defeat, they sometimes emit a large shockwave of Glohm that must be jumped over before disappearing.
