Copycat Curry is a cooperative Rhythm minigame appearing in Super Mario Party Jamboree. It is heavily inspired by the minigame Time to Shine from Super Mario Party.
Gameplay[edit]
The players are on a giant table in front of a soup with a character on the stage, the default being Waluigi. If he is a participant, he is replaced by one of either Luigi, Yoshi, Birdo, or Wario. This reprises Waluigi and Luigi's integrability to a Rhythm minigame despite being playable characters from Time to Shine.
The players must shake the Joy-Con with the right timing (indicated by the pink light underneath all characters and a whistling noise; if there is no light underneath a player when it is the player's turn, the player does not have to strike a pose). Players score one point if they get the timing too late or too early, adding some seasoning to the soup, but they can score two points if their timing is deemed "Nice!" and the character adds more seasoning to the soup at once. The players must work together for more points.
Controls[edit]
- – Strike a pose
In-game text[edit]
Feel the rhythm and strike a pose! Follow the example to get the timing right. Spice is added to the curry once you've struck the pose.
