Snaptors[1] are enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are red birds that have plier-like beaks, yellow slit eyes, and coil necks. In addition to their role as common enemies, Snaptors can also be found carrying the Extension Corps; Ecks does not use them due to his natural ability to fly. The Snaptor's name is a portmanteau of "snap" and "raptor".

They have a bigger variant called Mega Snaptor, one of which serves as a boss.

Battle

Snaptors have two different ways of attacking. Their first attack is by stretching their necks at Mario or Luigi.[1] Their second attack involves them flying across the screen before snatching Luigi and throwing him towards Mario.[2]
