Snaptors[1] are enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are red birds that have plier-like beaks, yellow slit eyes, and coil necks. The Snaptor's name is a portmanteau of "snap" and "raptor".

Battle

Snaptors have two different ways of attacking. Their first attack is by stretching their necks at Mario or Luigi. Their second attack involves them flying across the screen before snatching Luigi and throwing him towards Mario.
