8-Bit Hero is a microgame found in WarioWare: Touched! in the Retro Action stage. It features sprites from the NES games Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Ice Climber.

Gameplay[edit]

The object is to find the odd pixel out to match the example on the Top Screen. When the player succeeds, a brief scene from the respective game complete with music is shown. This game has twice the time to complete, as it requires thinking.

  • Level 1: The player must find the difference from a 5×3 area (15 pixels) that reveals Mario.
  • Level 2: The player must find the difference from a 6×4 area (24 pixels) that reveals Link.
  • Level 3: The player must find the difference from a 7×5 area (35 pixels) that reveals Popo.
    • The Ice Climber scene uses the game's Famicom Topi (a seal) rather than the yeti-like creature in the VS. System and NES-based versions of the game.
